Remedicals asked by DMP

Hi Guys,

Plz help me out, i am very confused regarding this. I have had my medicals done at IOM karachi. Two day after my medicals, I got a call from IOM saying that my chest X-Rays show some problem so I require to do Sputum tests.

All the previous such cases I have seen on this forum, sputum tests were done when the CHC requested remedicals, through a letter, I didn't get any and the Sputum results take 6 - 8 weeks to report. that means I would have to defer my term. Has anybody had same issue? How much delay is acceptable in medical reports after the first medical call?

when did u get the medical call from embassy the very first time?

I got the call on 16th March, medicals were done on 19th

I hope after this remedical they don't ask for another medical because a forum member " MOMI" suffered from this medical requests again and again. He was asked 4 times for remedicals.
Sputem test takes time for the results to come.

but I am more confused because in most cases medical furtherance is requested by CHC via letter and instructions, can DMP do the further medicals without such requests?

My brother medical procedures keep changing from time to time. Previously we could undergo medical exam in peshawar ,lahore and in many other chc registered doctors. but now they have limited it to IOM only. This is good for us. it saves time. Before after receiving medical report by the medical officer in Delhi they used to ask for re medical. but now IOM is doing this so its good in terms of saving wastage of time.
