Hello everyone,

I got my IELTS results today written through IDP. These are my results,

L- 8

R- 7.5

W- 6.5

S- 7.0

Because of 0.5 reduction in Writing I am missing out on CLB Level 9 in Canadian Express Entry.

Can I go go for re-eval in Writing module only. Also, I am very confident of getting at least 7 band score. This will give me a point boost of around 50 points.

Any comments or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

It takes $ and time for re-evaluation. However, it's not guaranteed that your score would improve despite your confidence. It's actually quite rare to see a score being changed.

The best way to get a higher score is to re-take the exam - but, if you really want to get your test re-evaluated, you may do so.

Practice well, watch youtube videos related to IELTS coaching and tips, in regard to writing- practice more by going through strategies that will help you score higher.

Reading 6.5 Writing 6

I was confident that i could score very good in Reading & Writing.

I m thinking what if i do enquiry on results (only reading & writing)?

1. What are the chances of improvements in Reading & Writing modules?? does any one see improvements? is it worth?
2.Is there any possiblitiy score may go down?

I have realised that everyone scored low in Writing section and i can actually understand how difficult is to score clb 9 if english is not your first language. I have attempted 4 times from 5.5 in writing to 8 in writing. If i can help anyone then happy to help

I GOT THE FOLLOWING RESULT FOR ACADEMIC MODULE
R 8.0
L 8.0
W 7.0
S 6.5
I myself is not happy with the speaking score, and have the same question, if I go for an enquiry request or remark, what is the success rate.does anybody get an increase or No?
