I posted this earlier -

"IELTS Score: L8, R8, W7.5, S6.5 (test was taken in US)
I applied for EOR (BC) on April 11 and after a week(April 18) got the results back. Speaking changed from 6.5 to 7.5
If you are confident that you performed well in Speaking/Writing, then go for EOR."

If you feel scores were not graded correctly, go for EoR

Thanks for your response. Actually, I was hoping to find someone from Pakistan so did get his scored improved after EoR.

Going for a remark is a personal decision. It depends on how confident you are.

I'm happy you have made the decision to go for remark. Kindly provide update as you make progress. BC or IDP.

It has happened before. If you go through the thread, you'll see some have been lucky getting upgrade in both speaking and writing.

That's not true mate. I think it depends on the center, country and exam partner. Mine took less than a week and I got an upgrade. If you are confident, please go for a remark.

Go through the thread, at least from page 60. In page 75, someone made an analysis of success rate. You may want to look at it as well.

There is no harm in going for it, going by your scores in the reading and listening sections, one of the other sections is bound to increase. So even if you don't get a increase in both the sections but just one, you would get your money back atleast.

I would love to know if the stupid examinator is penalized by them in these cases!!! So unfair w the candidate who missed 3 months!

Thnks for ur attention.

I had the speaking w the same examinator who previously gave me 8.0!! I did the same on this attempt.......no hesitation.......I can't figure out why she gave me 6.5 now!
