Remark Success rate

Hi,
I applied for EOR on 13th Aug at Jeddah British Council desperately hoping for a 0.5 increase in writing scores. Its been over 11 weeks and i am still waiting for my EOR results. I even lodged a complaint to British council for the delay in processing.
The wait is testing my patience.. Lets hope for the best.

Got my IELTS result today from idp

L 8.5
R 7.5
S 8
W 6.5

Don't know what went wrong in writing..I was pretty sure of 7
Should I go for reval? Is it really worth

L 8
R 7
S 6
W 6

Should I go for the recheck as I believe that the I cant score so low in speaking... I have given my best in speaking this time and I cant expect so low score....

Same thing happening with me. I applied on 16 AUG. Still no update.

I opted for EoR and got
L - 8.5
R - 7
S - 7.5
W - 7

My case had two odds: 1) There was difference of more than 2 with other section, 2) I was expecting a jump of a band, which I was told not to expect by many.

I believe If you are confident of your writing, you should opt for EoR.

Hi i would like to share my experience
I applied EOR on 5th Sep 2017 at Dubai British Council against my original Marking ( Writing and Speaking)
Pervious result marking was as follow
Reading : 7.5
Listen: 8.5
Speaking: 8.0
Writing: 6.5
Overall band : 7.5

So today by the grace of Allah I received my EOR result wich they change my writing band 6.5 to 7 but speaking band remain unchanged
Now overall band has been increase from 7.5 to 8

Hi guys, just sharing my experience so others might get the idea about EOR.

my Exam was on 19th Aug, and applied for EOR on 5th Sep.

I received my results yesterday.

Before
Reading : 7
Listen: 8
Speaking: 7
Writing: 6

After EOR, my writing increased with 0.5 increasing it to 6.5.
it is still not CLB 9, but I just shared my experience so that members can understand that EOR does make a difference.

I recently did EOR for writing module. My score didn't change. I was targeting 7 but I got 6.5. My rest of the modules are L:8.5/ R-7/S-7. So I am in dilemma what should I do now?
Just a month ago, in my previous attempt i had scored 7 in writing but within a month it's changed.
I have requested them to share the detail of reevaluation but they have rejected my request. Hence I will move to legal path for the same. I still believe they didn't have fair marking system.
 
Like the most of you, I also sent my TRF remarked.

Exam: 30 Sept 2017, in Canada
Results: L-8.5, R-9.0, W-6.5, S-7.5

I got a response today with writing from 6.5 to 7. :)

To everyone who has this conviction that they made well or may have exceeded task on their writing under strict time conditions, you give it a shot to have your IELTS remarked. However, if you feel that you are not that confident of your answer, it would be better to retake than to waste remark money.

I am just happy my money 180CAD will be refunded soon. Remained bless everyone.

@canoninsaudi: Congratulations! Did you take your test in IDP or British Council? Which city did you take your test from? I am also thinking to go for EOR. My score LRWS-9,8,6.5,8, took the test from IDP center in Calgary.

Great! Congratulations! The response was pretty quick. Did they send you an email notifying that your EOR is successful? Did you take your test from British Council?
