Hello People,
I applied for EOR on my 29th July results, and received the feedback yesterday. My writing score was remarked from 6.5 to 7. Final result is LRWS 8.5 8.5 7 7.
However, I appeared in another test in the mean time and already achieved mixture of CLB9s and 10s. Wanted to share just for the record, so if you are confident enough, do not hesitate to go for EOR.

Good luck everyone! :)

Fahad - When did you apply for the EOR? I applied for remark on writing section towards end of August and still awaiting the result.

After my third attempt I decided to opt for an EOR as I only needed .5 more in writing to attain north of 400 CRS points.

1st attempt: L-7.5, R-8, W-7.5, S-7
2nd attempt: L-8, R-7.5, W-6, S-9
3rd attempt: L-8.0, R-9, W-6.5, S-8.5

I submitted my EOR on July 20th, 2017 and I finally got my results today October 11, 2017.

My writing score improved to 7.

It was a long time period to wait so you can imagine the anxiety experienced. If you are confident in your writing and you are off by .5. I would say go for it because writing is subjective.

I am sitting at 439 with this new IELTS results and before my score was 387. I hope to get an invitation in the next draw. Good luck to all hopefuls.

Waiting is the worst enemy.
I applied for EOR 2 weeks ago. I know it will take around 8 weeks to get it done. Thereby, I sat for another exam. Unfortunately, I didn't preform as I wish. actually I found my self repeating the same words over and over.

Hi everyone,

Reading:8.5
Writing:6.5:mad:

For the 1st test i did not request for EOR because i did not prepare at all. I took for 2nd test and i expect myself to do better as i did a lot of preparation and put in many effort. I am confident that my writing is better than the first test. I will submit my EOR tomorrow and hope for all the best.:(:( 10 week waiting duration is really a pain in the ass.

IELTS (BC) on 30th September in Ottawa. Got the result (online) today:

L: 8.5
R: 9
W: 7.5
S: 6.5 :(

Is EOR worth a shot? I am just 0.5 short of CLB 9. Most of the cases discussed in this thread have succeeded to increase their band in writing, where I am stuck at speaking. I am pretty confused here.

Dear All, Just wanted to share my EOR result

Original Score: 8.5,7,6,7 LRWS (19 Aug, 17 - BC)

Speaking score increased from 7 to 7.5
Writing score remains unchanged 6 (very disappointed)

Test Center: BC, Doha, Qatar
EOR requested: 09th Sept.17
EOR received: 11th Oct, 17 ( Bit faster than what i expected, generally they give timeline for 8-10 weeks)

Good luck to everyone who is waiting for their EOR..

Hey everyone
I've came across this thread way too many times and i think i have to share my experience too..
I've applied for an EoR on AUG 28th but haven't received an acknowledgement email since then !!, never knew that was actually a thing :(

my results were: LRWS : 7.5 - 6 - 6 - 5.5
I have a massive problem when it comes to speaking even in my native language, people tend to have a hard time understanding my words and i stutter a lot too
i gave it a shot nonetheless, all i need is a .5 increase in speaking...
