Looking for advice to whether ask for remark on this:
L 9
R 9
S 7.5
W 6.5

I know it says somewhere that if you had a difference of 2+ bands, the lowest band will be revised twice automatically.
Thing is, I'd only need a +0.5 in Writing.
Looking for advice and experiences!
2 band difference is a myth.My scores increased inspite of 2 band difference..

Hello,
congrats alot
What was the mode of communication regarding change in bands, it seems to be a vauge process, with less consistancy
Did you gave your TRF while submitting eor, or did you sent back after getting inforned about change in scores

Yes. I submitted original TRF while applying for EOR and later received a new TRF by post. That's how I came to know about my updated test results.

In my case they haven't taken original trf, and they said i could be informed about outcome( either way) through email or letter....than i have to return previous TRF to get new one, email is ok, but letter further take 5-10 more days. Which makes whole process too lengthy

EOR success story!

My score for 19th January IELTS exam (BC) was L-9 R-7.5 W-6.5 S-7.5. Applied EOR on 07th February for writing module only. Got documents confirmation on 13th February via mail. No communication for 21 days and i didn't bother as i was traveling. I started calling BC after 21 days about progress but didn't get any satisfactory answer. On 13th March i was told that process has been completed and they will dispatch results on 15th March. Got SMS on 15th that "EOR trf" has been dispatched via blue dart. Delivery was due for Monday but i was very impatient and scared like hell. Kept calling blue dart and somehow managed to to get my result today (Sunday). My heart skipped a beat when i saw my result. Score was changed from 6.5 to 7. I nailed IELTS after two attempts and now my CRS is updated from 407 to 466. So guys EOR really works. Please go for revaluation if you are confident about your writing and don't hesitate to take that risk. Waiting for few weeks is worth the joy you will get after seeing your changed score. My IELTS journey ends here. Best of luck to everyone. Please let me know if i can help someone. Thanks

Hello all,
Got my results on Friday,
Listening-9
Reading-9
Speaking-9
Writing-6.5

Planning on applying for EOR on the same, any suggestions or thoughts on the success rate for just the writing section? Need just .5 increase on the score.

I received a positive EOR result for my 19 Jan test with BC. I had applied for EOR on 8 Feb and received an acknowledgement on 11 Feb. My writing score has changed from 6.5 to 7, so I now have the golden score of 8777 leading to a CRS of 442.

When I had enquired with BC on 8 Mar, I was informed that my EOR is completed and it will be issued soon. The 'soon' turned out to be 15 Mar; but it gave me a gut feel that it must be positive, since they took a week to dispatch implying that the extra time would have been spent on administrational procedures to reprint the new TRF etc. It's just a guess!!

I have applied for EOR on writing (6.5) on 14 Feb IELTS score with idp also and expect it to be positive as well. That will get me a CRS of 448; current score fetched me 442, which is ok but I will have to wait for my turn.

Good luck all!!

My ielts journey, i gave ielts with idp-india computer delivered two times: 2 march n 13 march respectively my scores were
L= 8.5, 9
R= 8, 7.5
S= 7, 7 ( same examiner both times)
W= 6.5, 6.5

I have applied for eor on firsrt test, will 2nd test result affect outcome of 1st test eor. I am feeling tensed and frustrated , 0.5 difference in writing makes a difference od 406 n 464 crs respectively :(

This is my 4th IELTS attempt. Result recd on 15-Apr
L = 8
R = 9
S =7
W=7
However i was confident on speaking score to be 8, or atleast 7.5 (As i got S 7.5 in earlier 2 attempts and i have done well in this attempt too).
Now I badly need 7.5 for CRS to touch 442.

Is there any chance that EOR can lead to increase in Speaking from 7 to 7.5.
Kindly Advise.
