it is about two band difference between speaking and writing, not between writing and anyone of the rest. I read it somewhere :) That might be true.
I have talk to the IDP and BC guys they are not willing to clearify this two bands difference matter.
I’m not sure. ......

Guys I'm just lacking by 0.5 bands in reading from achieving CLB 9, can anyone please suggest if I should go for reevaluation did anyone received increase in reading bands after reevaluation in past. I was most confident about reading after the exam.

Thanks,
Kamlesh

Sat for the test for the fifth try on August 18th
Filled and sent the EOR form requesting to remark my "writing tasks", right after seeing the result which is:
LRWS: 8, 8.5, 6.5, 7.5

This is my 5th attempt so far and I'm not gonna take another IELTS anymore!
At my first attempt, I got 4 equal scores of 7.5. Happy with the result, I thought I'm going to easily beat it at my next try since at the first one I was just getting familiar with the test itself other than aiming for the CLB10.
Then I tried to reach CLB10 a couple of times, which never happened and it was always due to the lack of 0.5 band score in writing, while others reached 8 to 9.

Test Center: IDP-Iran
Test Date: 08/18/2018
EOR Date: 08/31/2018

Waiting for the result
Will update you guys

For reading, it is near to impossible that your score would change. I suggest you go for another attempt to save both time and money. all the best.

Hello Guys i got my IELTS Test result today. (BC India - 18th Aug 2018)
L 8.5
R 8.0
S 8.0
W 7.0
I need to max out my Writing by .5 to jump my CRS from 438 to 441.I worked on my Writing a lot this time and think it could have been 7.5 min.
Do you suggest for an EOR?
Please recommend what to do?(Note: the last time i applied for EOR in IDP and nothing changed with 6.5 in writing)

Hi Guys,
I sat for the general exam on 18/08/2018 in Sri Lanka and got my results today.
L 9
R 9
S 7.5
W 6.5
I will be applying for remarking as soon as I receive the TRF. Hopefully will get a 0.5 increase for writing.

By way of additional update.

August 2, 2018 test date - L/R/S/W (8.5/9/8/7).

I need a 0.5 bump in writing to max out IELTS points. CRS is currently 440 and could be 443 if successful.

Submitted EOR in person at IELTS local office on 28/8/2018.

Received acknowledgement email on 30/8/2018 from IELTS local office that EOR has been transmitted and processing has begun. They also gave a timeline of 2 to 4 weeks; and that I could check with them via email if I do not receive an email update after 3 weeks.

I wrote the test in Lagos, Nigeria and it was with British Council.
