Hello
Sorry, but I have to make this introduction to give the background to the question
I Landed in Dec 2008 with my wife and 2 children. We stayed a week and left Canada.
We came back last Summer (Aug 2012), without any problem at the entry point (Thanks God) to get my family settle down
(Rent Apart, furnish it, subscribe Children in University and Secondary school).
I spend one month last summer then had to quit again to continue working outside Canada to be able to support them financially.
My wife found a modest part-time job in a school since September 2012.
They are locked there for 2 years to be able to renew their PRs without problem.
I visited them last Aug 2013, but had to say the truth about not meeting the residency obligations ( I lived in Ontario,
only 10 weeks in 4 and half year !). They reported me at the Airport Entry Point last August, giving me 30 days to leave.
I then submitted an appeal, just for the sake of keeping my PR valid until Expiry (Dec 2013) because I had to come back
again in October (last month) to finalize a hometown purchase, procedure (Closing date in October).
Which I did in 2 weeks time and left Canada again.
Within a year or so, I will ready to move to Canada and join my family for good.
Plan: My wife will try to sponsor me once she renews her PR in a year ( Nov 2014) according to the renewal waiting time estimation.
My Question 1: My PR expires by end Dec 2013. Shall I relinquish / Surrender it at the Canadian Embassy in my living country or let it expire (in 50 days from now) but then the Judge may call me after few months in response to my appeal ?
What option would look better once they consider my spouse "sponsoring me" request in a year from now ? Just to keep a decent record as much as possible for the next PR tentative of sponsorship.
Question 2: In the event of Relinquishing my PR in the Embassy, would they ask for SIN Card as well ?
Thank you.
