Hai everyone seeking ur help
Is there anyone whose visa got approved with religious certificate (Nikah)?? not gov.issued one!!!
pls anyone reply as we’re being very stressful and worrying abt this bcz we hav already uploaded our application with Indian nikah marriage certificate
our first application got rufused as it was an online marriage..this time we both went India and got married and we ddnt get a government marriage certificate but we hav Nikkah certificate with apostille stamp+red stamp back of the certificate and we have all other required dcmnts (3 years of relationship) pls if anyone here went through same situation pls help us again we can’t bear another failure

It should be government issued. On the government canada website linked here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5289-sponsor-your-spouse-common-law-partner-conjugal-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html

"For spousal sponsorships, make sure you include a valid marriage certificate or proof of registration of your marriage with your application (see checklist details). The document(s) you submit must show that the marriage was legally registered with the government where it took place."

We both not Indian citizen but we got married in India Tamil Nadu and we hav nikah certificate with mea stamp as we already applied our application what is the fastest way to register our marriage there in TN ?pls help us

You have been together for three years, or living together for three years? If the latter, you can apply common law.

If not - sorry, don't know specifics of Indian marriage registration etc.
