relevant study ASAP

My visa got refused on the grounds of not relevant study?

i have done BCA thru correspondence and hold 7 years of exp in IT(2 years)and ITES (5 years).

the course opted for is International business mgmt with Mohawk.

Now, I need suggestions what course are relevant for my profile. So that my visa doesn't get rejected again.

Seniors please some answers.

You applied for: International Business Management Graduate Certificate Program - 116?

I would say this is more general: •Business Foundations Certificate - 248 or •Business (General) Diploma - 320

However, I think the issue is you're going from IT to business. Some colleges offer Business degrees with IT background, but I didn't see one at Mohawk.

If you're wanting to branch into business, you probably need to get a diploma or bachelor before applying for a graduate certificate unless you use your IT degree to help you bridge the gap.

the program mentioned by you in BCIT is quite expensive for my budget.

i hold approved education loan for 10laks.

i don't mind doing diploma is there any universities that offer that Or colleges (2nd option)

As I feel, colleges reduce your chances of visa approval.

this going to be my 3rd time.

Have you talked to the international enrollment advisor at Mohawk? That would be the best person to talk to!

In not, you can try for general business. If you have management experience in your field make sure to highlight this.

1. Deferral letter not attached
2. Not relevant study.

That's the reason i am being more cautious for my 3rd application.

BCA with 7 years exp in IT and ITES

IT-Business development 2 years
ITES-Customer Care and Business Development -5 years

I am planning for project mgmt is it relevant? you think

It doesn't matter what I think - it matters what CIC thinks! If they are saying it's not relevant, then it's not relevant. Unfortunately, this isn't a democracy.... they make all the rules!

Another thing to consider is IT is not in demand as far as professions go in Canada. There are lots of jobs, but there are already lots of people here to work those jobs.

I agree with amikety since you have long 7 years experience in IT field,IT courses would be feasible for you in terms of getting visa.

You have already 2 refusals for IBM course then it doesn't make any sense for opting business course again.Probably you can look for IT related course and try again.After landing in canada you have choice to switch program.
