24 months and 30 days. The 30 days don't matter that much anyway because you get 11 points for 2-3 years of work experience in the FSW program.

So 2 years.

i need to be sure otherwise it could lead to rejection of my application. Because someone told me that in my second company i have less than 6 months experience so it will give me zero points..

This should clear your doubts

Sorry didn't realize I posted a link related to CEC.

The minimum work requirements for FSW can be found here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/fsw/minimum.asp

There's also a method of calculating full/part time work below
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/definitions.asp?letterNum=6

There's nothing in either of the links that mentions that you need to work 6+ months for the same employer. As long as your letters mention that you worked on a full-time basis, you're good to go. I also think the work should all be under the same NOC code, and continuous.

In my case:
  • I worked less than 1 year for Employer A.
  • I immediately joined Employer B the following day after my last day with Employer A.
  • Total time spent with Employer A and B together was about 2 years and 5 months. Not sure if those 5 months would be counted.
  • Later on, I had a gap of a couple of weeks before starting with Employer C, so those would be excluded. I spent 1 year and 10 days with Employer C, so that's another year added.
  • Another gap of 2 weeks before starting with Employer D. By the time I submitted my application, I had spent 8 months with Employer D.

I'm not totally sure if they would add up all the months after spending at least 1 year under the same NOC.. but that doesn't matter for me anyway because I needed a minimum of 3 years to be selected in my round. If I had no gaps, we would be talking 4+ years of experience. Doesn't matter for CRS, but matters for the 6 selection factors of FSW.

Edit: Another thing to consider is that the e-APR doesn't ask you to fill in the start and end "days".. they only ask for month and year. So one would think that they don't care that much if your gaps are less than a month.
