I had sponsored my parents under 2019 PGP (application received date = 19 June). My mom is primary applicant and my father is dependant.
We received a email from CIC stating they need following documents for proof of relationship:
Family Ration Card, PAN, Aadhaar and Voter’s ID cards for yourself and your spouse.
I have two questions:
1. We dont have all the documents. My parents only have PAN, Voter and Aadhar Card but not the Ration Card. Has anyone faced similar issue. What explanation did you send them?
2. On voter cards, the spellings of name of my parents is not matching their names on passport. Should we send it to CIC or just not send it and say we dont have it? They need this info in 30 days which is not enough time to get the spellings fixed.
