ONLY BLOOD RELATIVES OR THAT BY MARRIAGE WILL FETCH U SOME POINTS

Cousins doesn't give you any points. Read the guide for adaptability points. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-adaptability.asp

No, I guess he can be considered by you as a very close "blood" relative.... but not by CIC. A cousin will not give you 5 adaptability points.

Regards.

Cousin is not a blood relative for the purpose of Canadian Immigration

what if i have already included it in my applicatio?though without it i still have the marks- 69, hope no penalty for this

They probably give you zero for that but still notice that you have over 67 points and process your application. I haven't heard of a situation where it would be an issue but just because i haven't read about it on here doesn't mean they don't reject it on something like that.

cousin may not give you any point but i guess it effects positively on your application. How did you manage to write cousin on application forms as there was no option to mark for cousin.

I agree with you RA00.

As for me, i added cousin on the application and ticked it.

Adding a cousin will not give 5 points. You need to get 67 points with or without cousin and if you get 67 points, you don't need relatives anyway because it is not as if relatives give you any advantage other than points (in this case). Its not like they move you to the front of the queue.
