Yeah. I can understand your problem. Do one thing , call any consultant on monday.. and ask them .. they will not charge you and tell you exact information.
I talked with one consultant. They told me that now three bank issue GIC : Scotia, icici and sbi. It doesn't effect in your visa file. Another said me that I don't have any idea about SBI GIC. So different news I heard. So now what I do.
Um... See.. if GIC opened in SBI BANK CANADA is not acceptable for visa , why would they offer this facility??
What benifit will be there if we open Gic and then can't put in visa file? I think the previous consultant is right... But just to be sure , ask 1-2 more consultants on Monday..
You don't need to do this if GIC of SBI BANK CANADA is accepted by embassy.
Ask an expert if you can use the GIC issued by SBI in your visa application , if you can use it , then it's good . If not , then yes , open an account on icici or axis and send money to scotiabnk and get the gic issued by them.
