Rejection under spp for a decent profile!! Kindly suggest solution.

Applied under SPP on Dec 8th 2014 for Lambton college - Fiancial Planning & Wealth Management course for JAN 2015 intake.
Got rejection on 8th January
Reasons- 1: Purpose of Visit
2: Proposed course not relevant to previous study/job.

My Profile-

10th - 85%
12th commerce - 79%
Bachelors in commerce- 59% aggregate no backlogs
IELTS - 7.5
Work ex- 1.5yrs as Commercial and Accounting executive
No gaps

Experienced people please suggest solution in my case as i am really interested in pursuing Financial planning course for CFA certification. I have employment history in accounting but wish to change my stream. It was explained in my SOP for visa. I am shocked about rejection and want to know what steps to take for MAY intake.

Do i change my college? Do i change my course to accounting, but i am interested in Finance which is relevant to my under grad education. Do i get caips notes?

HELP PLEASE !!!

My visa is rejected twice..canada embassy is getting very strict these days..i think the main cause of refusal is b.com percentage under 60%.. i know that thier requirement is 50% but people who have marks under 60%, are nt getting visa these days...

Bro I also applied on Dec 8th. Got rejected bcz Dec 1st is deadline for spp checklist.there is no processing time for irpa requirements

on first time, i applied on 14th november n second time on 10th december.. so my first application was on time..

It was a pg certificate program . I am getting CAIPS done for exact reason and will apply by February end for May intake.

Did you show proper funds?
Possible home ties in your country. ( all the reasons that would make you leave the country after you would finish your education)
these are the most common reasons for study permit refusals!

other reasons may be, choosing a course that is not very related to your program of graduation.( however, that seem to be the case).
I heard of someones documents being rejected becoz the Visa Officer(VO) had a doubt on the authenticity of the copies( a Notrized copy would help).

Please let us know the exact reason mentioned int he refusal letter that they have sent you.

all the best dear i applied visa for same college! make a clear cut SOP and mention after PGD u will return back home! Hope it helps.. Good luck!

They chk ur last education percentage .. It should be 60% or more ...
