i also have the same case. I applied in APril 2010 but my application was returned on 12 May due to incomplete info ie missing date of marriage and i m still waiting and haven't received my documents back. i dont know how much more time is required to reach my docs back...

Nowadays Visa Office are very caution on application form filling they catch on minor mistakes so really beware w/ it . As I feel bad for Numir , please don't feel down or low yourself there are way of solution don't worry keep in faith of GOD everything 'll sort out for sure
The cover letter you received, would have written somewhere that please update this field and send us forms back with the cover letter.
If it is written something like this then, you can send the forms back with correction. They put stamp on the IMM0008gen with received date so, then know when the application was lodged for the first time.

Yesterday i got the big News.... my application was returned by CIC pertaining that i have not completely filled my application form. They have not deducted any money and neither they have kept any record on my application. and in case i want to apply again, i have to go through new rules for immigration.
What mistake i did was that i wrote Pakistan in visa office form instead of Islamabad,Pakistan (i guess) and they have highlighted this field.
Now that my NOC category has changed and i am unable to file for immigration.... I am totally shattered and confused.... Was writing Pakistan Only is big enough a mistake to reject an application , for normal circumstances it might not be a deal and now that i am unable to apply due to cap and change in NOC.... I donot know what to do....
Is there any way to appeal on this... can i do anything to get this corrected..... Help me out if anyone has any info.... and for all potential immgrants,, please fill out carefully and review your forms trillian a times...
