Anybody came across of any case got rejected from VO after getting PER from CIO..

Actually I was thinking, can it be a situation thats VO rejects the case after PER.

Yes I understand, thatswhat I was thinking in what circumstances they can reject the case.

Yes, they can. If documents submitted were proven or suspected to be fraudulent or fake. Or if the VO assessed your file/qualifications and felt that you did not perform the required duties and responsibilities/lacked minimum points.

background checks are started soon after your VO gets your full docs.
Once you reach IP stage, you are set to get MR or get the Rejection.
IP is the stage when your VO could make calls to your previous employers or ask for further documents.
