Really strange...Why CIC office confirm your application and advice to send it to local visa office?
On this stage unfortunately you can not get your money back...
I was rejected as well.But Sydney reject my application and informed that my duties are not correct.

Don't worry you will get your refund. I was rejected too on the second stage of my application and got the refund after 6 weeks. CIO approved my case for further processing and got rejected on my visa office.

Dear friends i will get refund which is mentioned in the letter which i received today. But My question is from where they send CIC sydeny or local visa office?

CIO-Sydney will issue the refund...

Sorry for the rejection, Would you please let me know what is your current ECAS status? is it still "Recieved by VO" or it has changed to "Visa Office Eligibility Complete" or "Decsion Made" ?
