Hi,

I recently got a refusal letter for my PR application stating that my NOC codes were incorrect and because of that my score had dropped below the minimum for that round of invitation. I recalculated my score using the CRS score calculator by removing the foreign experience for which my NOC codes were incorrect and i was at 495. The CRS cut off was 470. So my application should have still been considered. Correct?

Thanks,
Pinto

I did. I showed my Canadian work experience of 1 year and i had a masters degree in Canada too. The refusal letter stated incorrect NOC only for my foreign experience. So technically they still accepted my Canadian work experience

get your gcms note asap and find out more about your case

If you had applied under FSW, the Canadian experience may be insufficient.

If your 'primary NOC' and Canadian experience NOC are different, then also that will not count towards FSW points.
