Starting tomorrow, non-residents need to have an Electronic Travel Authorization to travel to Canada via air. I had applied for Express Entry last year and the application was rejected due to incomplete documents from one one my employers.
Now I want to gat an eTA number and I don't know how to apply for it for my wife. I was the primary EE applicant, so when I applied for my own eTA, I answered "Yes" when asked if I have applied to CIC before and I provided my UCI number which I got from EE. Then I also answered "Yes" when asked if I have ever been rejected a visa, and provided an explanation about my EE profile.
However, I have no idea how to answer these questions for my wife. Technically I was the primary EE applicant and she was listed as a spouse on my EE application. I don't know if she has a separate UCI number, because CIC never provided one - the rejection letter only contains my UCI number. Does it mean she should answer "No" to these questions?
