HI, I got a rejection due to incomplete information as I did not do my PCC for my intermittent travel to the US which in total became more than 6 months. I thought that as I did not stay continuously I don't need a PCC from the US. Now I reapplied and got an ITA and I am filling the application again. In the statutory part it asks if my permanent residency application was refused. So do I need to give information about the previous rejection due to incomplete information as it wasn't refusal and the work used were " Rejected for being incomplete "

If I remember correctly, you account for the rejected application by saying "yes" to the question of "Have you applied before?" and then it'll ask for your prior application number.

Your application was basically cancelled, not rejected. So you are not required to disclose it. However if you still wish to declare, no harm in doing so the way you described.

I have similar situation where my consultant mistakenly answered “No” for question related to previous immigration application. While in fact we had applied more than 10 years ago and withdrew our application before any decision was made, although I had informed her about it. Now when I received my GCMS report, in notes at various places I can see the question about previous immigration with answer as”N”. Please advise if it is an issue and what action should be taken?
Thanks

The main concern seems to be "Will I risk my application being rejected/denied because I answered Yes to the question 'have you applied before?' ". You must know that your application will get the same treatment if you answer Yes or No. So be honest and do the right thing, and avoid omitting details. There's a thing such as lying by omission in the justice system. A half truth is a whole lie. Misrepresentation Explained

If you're still in doubt, think of it this way.. replace the word applied with paid Permanent Resident Application Fee. So your question is "have you paid the Permanent Resident application fee before?"
