Hi, My name is Hanwell. Just want ask if anyone have same experience and how to resolve it.

My girl friend which currently live in China would like to visit me in Alberta for traveling in the Banff during summer. She has a good job that work in the government bank and steady income and she owned a apartment in the town she lived in. However, the visa application didn;t go well and get rejected for very absurd reason.

The letter said she have not enough travel history, but in reality she has tons of travelling history. She have been visting England and other European countery last year 2013and also Japan this year 2014. She also went to Australia the year before. The photo copy on the passport indicated that. The letter also said VO did not satisified with the sufficient funds, which is inrelavent becasue she got 100,000 dollars in her account and the provf is submitted with the application. Now we are very frustrated becasue we give excalty what CIC asked for but still rejected, can anyone give some suggestion? Thanks a lot, because I really hope to see her and miss her so much.

Did you order GCMS notes to see why exactly she was rejected? As for the $100,000, it probably got rejected because someone must've made a large deposit into her bank account recently.

Single worried reason will easily push the officer to reject the visa. I had similar case with my cousin, he applied to a visitor visa with an invitation from his sister who lives in Canada.

My cousin works in Dubai/UAE in an international company (Oil field), his sister in Canada and her husband both are above the 100,000 CAD per year income.

Simply, the visa got rejected because of a large amount was deposited into his account at once! However, he sent a letter to CIC explaining to them that this is an inheritance from his father with proofs.

Remember, having no sufficient travel history is much simpler than having bulk amount into the account!

Did she explicitly listed her travel history? I helped my in-laws for the application. In the travel history part, we organized a file, the 1st page listed all their travels abroad in the last five years, start to end dates of each trip, then the rest of the pages are the images of visas and exit/entry stamps on their passports.

As for the funds, did she get a bank signed document proving that she has that much money and sometimes bank even says the money is held until certain date to prove that you do own that money instead of from temporary borrowing. Here are the useful links I found explaining exactly what kind of documents they need (Chinese specific). It is in Chinese but I suppose she can read it. Did she also submit a copy of her condo ownership certificate or whatever it is called?

All the best for her application. If you have any more question, you can drop me a message in my mailbox here.

Try summarizing the travel history of the applicant in a more appealing way. How you construct or present your documents will help you gain more chances of getting approved.

I also speculate that the true reason for rejection is that they are afraid that your girlfriend's tie to you is stronger to her tie in China so that she may stay in Canada after the visit ...
