Rehabilitation Application to immigrate to Canada / U.S ESTA problems

Hello,

I wanted to immigrate to Canada ,but due of my past criminal record, which is clean now, I still have to wait a certain time.. to realize an Application for Rehabilitation.
My english, was not so good at that time, so I did fly to the U.S and on the ESTA document I did mark with NO, when I had to fill the part where the U.S authorities ask ,, have you ever commited a crime ? ''
Later, I did look about the question again and had seen, that they ask for , If I ever commited a crime and not, If I still have a criminal record.

What would possibly the canadian authorities say, when I start to apply for rehabilitation? Sir, in the U.S you also commited a crime or something like that..

Or they will just see relevance on my past convictions?

Thanks a lot !

Canada & the USA share immigration data . Assume the IRCC will know everything.
You realize that by lying to the US and if they find out , it’s a permanent bar to ever enter the USA ?

Ok, I do understand.

So, you admit that you commited a crime === Lifetime Ban
if they find out otherwise === Lifetime Ban as well...
Any Waivers?

And if the canadian authorities would find out this, it would be another commited crime for them?
