Dear all,

I have a question on regulated occupation. I have obtained invitations from Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream.

Five years ago I worked as a Human Resource Professional (NOC 1121) for 4 months. Human Resource Professional is a regulated occupation. (i) For the purpose of ONTARIO PNP, do I need to get the certification for Human Resource Professional?
(ii) For the purpose of CIC Federal Skilled Worker and Express Entry, do I need to get the certification for Human Resource Professional?

Anyone knows what I need to do?

Thank you.

Based on the information on the job bank, NOC 1121 is only regulated in Quebec.

Did you see it else where stating that it is regulated?

It is stated that NOC 1121 is regulated in Ontario in the following website:

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_HOW_WORK_PROF_PROFS.html

I may be able to phone to Ontario Immigration to ask for the requirement. However, I am very unsure whether I need certification, for the purpose of Federal Skilled Worker and Express Entry, and there is no one to ask.

Did you already obtained the nomination from Ontario?

well i didnt understand your question...you worked for 4 months only? or is it your intended occupation.

in short if you are applying for EE based on experience you got under NOC 1121 then you need to provide what is asked in the following web page

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_HOW_WORK_HR.html

If your major experience is not NOC 1121 then you need to full fill the requirement of the NOC you are applying for.

Note: you only need to provide documentation for your experience you are claiming points for other experience needs to be mentioned in personal history in EE profile.

You don't need certification for CIC under FSW/EE. I have seen many of my doctor and dentist friends who got PR under FSW in EE. You must need a certification if you want to practice your regulated profession in Canada after getting PR.

+1 to you. One guy contacted Ontario's Immigration and they confirmed. You only need to get certified before PR application if you have job offer from an employer for regulated occupation.
