Regular visits during PR Process??

I am now in the PR Process, but I cannot find any info about visiting one another (USA/Canada) for just a regular old 1 or 2 week visit. All I find is about getting some kind of visitors visa to stay with them during the process.

Is there anything I should bring as far as proof just incase when crossing the border? I have never had any problems before, with just telling the officer I'm going to visit my husband. I wasn't sure if they have something that informs them that I intend on moving to Canada or am in the PR process when checking my passport/ID??? Same for my husband when he plans on visiting me here in the US in a few months, anything recommended to bring with him besides copy of Application/Reciept???

There may or may not get information that you have a PR ap in process if they run your passport at the border, but I think I'd assume they can find out because you do include a photocopy of your passport with your PR ap. As long as you have proof of your intent to return to the US at the end of your authorized stay, you shouldn't have an issue. I'd say bring proof that you have a rental/lease/property agreement or, even better, proof that you've got a job you're expected to return to.

As far as your husband going to the States for a visit - nothing has changed. He has not applied for permanent status there, and it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever to the US immigration officers that he has applied to sponsor you to Canada. He doesn't need to show them a copy of the Application/Receipt and he doesn't need that to re-enter Canada.
