Hello everyone!

I am inviting my parents to come over to visit me here in Canada. They only want to stay about 2 months once a year. Is it okay if they will just apply for a regular TRV (multiple entry) rather than the Supervisa? I was thinking that they don't really need the Supervisa since they will not benefit from the "extended stay" feature of the Supervisa. What do you guys think? Is it still okay if I'll just apply for a regular TRV and skip the tedious Supervisa requirements? Or is it a bad idea?

Thanks a lot in advance!

The requirement of a Supervisa might sound tedious, but at least the requirements looks more clear than regular visa.

Sure it is your choice to apply either supervisa or a regular one.

thanks for answering my questions. I am planning to comply to all the requirements of the supervisa except the one year medical insurance. I am planning on getting them a medical insurance valid for the duration of their trip. which is one month.

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated
