Hi,

I know that people entering Canada for the first time must show proof of funds to the officer at the port of entry.

However, what happens if the person leaves and re-enters for the 2nd, 3rd,.....time. Is the PR card holder questioned every time at the port of entry.

Once you have the PR card, you are not asked for funds on re-entry

Once you land and complete your landing at the POR and you become a PR. Then there are no such restrictions. You are a Canadian PR and will be till 5 years and (More if you meet the condition of PR).

Yes, "n" number of time you can enter and exit once you have the PR card without any restrictions, but make sure once you get the time close for renewal of your PR card you meet the PR requirement.

Thank you rocky272727 and one more thing what is the requirement for PR card renewal is it two years or 730 days all days which you stayed in Canada in preceding 5 years.
