Job offer is not enough to extend your work permit. Your employer need to submit LMIA for you then after you get positive LMIA you may apply for work permit extention.
Your employer needs to get an an approved LMIA if you want to be able to extend your work permit. The LMIA process can take 4-6 months to complete - your employer should start now.
