Hi i got mail from cic below is the message can anyone tell me what it means that my visa is approved or still under processing?

"This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application".

They would be asking for your passport so that they can stamp the VISA on it

you should renew it first.. otherwise u will get refusal on immigration status

Already they rejected my application on this reason...immigration status, travel history,current employment situation, personal assets and no study plan...so now i write sop n clear all those reasons...jst waitin to renew my RP then i ll apply...jst pray dat this time i got visa...

usually visa officers want to know if u can return to ur country of residence/ citizenship after completing the course..
For example - XYZ applies for visa from Japan where he's been living for past few years ( not his country of citizenship) . visa officer will see if XYZ can return to Japan after finishing his studies ( as Japan is the country of residence ) so XYZ's visa will be rejected on immigration status if after finishing studies he/she won't have a valid visa for his country of residence.
