Hi,
I have a query regarding marriage. If I get married between the period of ITA and getting PR status result or after getting the PR approval, how should the process be carried further in order to bring my spouse along with me to Canada. Shall I update the documents of my spouse too before going first time to Canada after getting PR approval or shall I move to Canada alone first and then proceed with the spouse's immigration process?

If you get married but haven't yet landed as a PR, it's mandatory that you include your spouse in the application. It doesn't matter what stage your application is at. This means spouse must do and pass medical exam and police checks.
If you were married but landed as a PR as "single", this is serious misrepresentation and would result in a permanent ban on ever sponsoring your spouse in the future, not to mention possibility your own PR status could be revoked.

If spouse is listed as accompanying, they will get PR at same time as you.

If spouse is listed as non-accompanying, they will not get PR status (but still need to do medical exam) so you would need to sponsor them after becoming PR under a family class application.

If you are immigrating via an economic stream, including an accompanying spouse may have impact on your points qualifying.
