Hello. Can someone please tell me that is that necessary to mention the word ‘Full time’ in employment letter as I’m working 40 hours but they have hired me as part time employee. I’m aware that it is necessary to write the hours I work in a week and date of joining but not sure whether it is mandatory to mention the word part time or full time.

When you say you were hired "part time", do you mean less than 25 hrs in your offer letter? And required to render overtime to make it 40?
No. They are giving 40hours. It’s not overtime. Hired as part time with no benefits but giving me 40 hours. So they will write in letter like working 40 hours per week. But do we have to mention the word full time or part time on letter as they can mention part time but then won’t be enough hours to apply for pr in a year.
Anything above 25hrs is full time work. Are you a seasonal or fixed contract worker?
