My country of origin passport expires in February next year. I am already a refugee from the Convention and I have applied for permanent residence and I am still applying. I don’t want to continue to apply for a passport from my country of origin. I don’t want to have anything to do with my country of origin. May I ask if my country of origin passport has expired Will not applying for a new one affect me in the future?

You shouldn’t apply for a new passport because it could affect your status in Canada. You actually must not apply but no it won’t have any impact.
