Regarding T1, T4 and Pay stubs

My wife just scanned her T1, T4 and Pay stubs and she had sent it to me by email for me to print . I will send this by courier to the visa office processing my application. Anyone who did the same thing? Is the visa office requiring the original copies of the T1 and T4?
