Regarding spouse!

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding including your spouse in the PR application. I am currently not willing to apply as a couple, rather would like to apply as an individual applicant, it takes 2 years for a divorce settlement to complete, so would there be a way for me to apply? I would not even be able to get his certs or medicals from him. looking forward for you replies...

If you want to exclude your spouse from your application then you will have to provide proof along with the application that you are legally separated and/or that you have filed for divorce.

If you are applying in skilled worker category than there will be no issue whether you mention the details of your spouse or not just divorce status will be enough. But if you have under age children you need the custody of them through competent court of law and also you need to produce your divorce certificate in order to justify the child/children custody. Also some more documents are required if you are from Islamic countries. If you mention your country of residence and from where you will apply I can write more specific details.
