Regarding Spouse name of Main application passport

Hi Team,

on Main Applicant passport:- spouse name is not updated
on Spouse passport:- spouse name is updated
on Kids passport- Mother and father name is updated
Also we have marriage certificate

My question is:- Do we have to update the spouse name of Main applicant's passport or not? as we don't have time to update the passport first and then for Police Certificate

Please guide
