Hi all.
My spouse has a university degree in commerce. But she has worked as a teacher for 5 years. I have mentioned that in her personal history but in work history I have mentioned nothing as her job was not relevant to her education. Also I am not claiming points for her experience . Is it ok with this?? or i have mention her experience in work history??

Yes that's fine, once you obtain your ITA mention such work experience in the personal history section only.

You won't be required to provide any proof of employment.

Hi,
I want to add to this query, I got my ITA recently. I am not claiming any points for spouse education and work experience as none of the experience was in Canada. I am in the process of filling my application and I have not submitted yet. If I mention spouse work experience in work history will I be asked to produce evidence for the same? I dont want to complicate my application and anyway I am not claiming points for the same. Do you suggest all spouse work experience in my case should go to personal history?

If you mention her work in work history, you will have to provide all the evidence. Don't complicate things for you and move all of her work experience within her personal history !
No problem with that !
GLuck !
