Hello,

Strangely on the CIC website, nowhere I can find what documents they would need as 'proof' of funds with me. I have applied for Express Entry with my husband, me being the primary applicant.
Our funds are in a Fixed Deposit in the US my husband's name only. Do I need to break the deposit and transfer funds into my account or a joint account while applying for ITA OR just a document with the details Fixed Deposit in my husband's name along with the amount should suffice?

you can show fixed deposits. if you are accompanying your spouse, write a letter stating that the funds are for his use.

The issue is that I am the primary applicant and my spouse is accompanying me. The FD is in my spouse's name. The funds in the FD are for use by us both and not just my spouse.

Will this be an issue?

Not at all. When we are applying my wife is the main applicant and funds came from my bank, so we didnt had any issue.
Your husband is included in your applicant and he contributed to the CRS points and whats the big deal, go ahead you're good to go.
