hi
im a new member of this forum i have sent my application to the cio and waiting for aor . i have some doubt regarding my previous refusal papers of uk. i had missed the refusal letter given by the uk embassy. is it really necessary to give those papers or is it fine if we write down the reason simply in the application form which we give to the chc delhi. . if any one with such situation had got visa please help.

HI mention in the application form when the visa was applied, under what category and the reason for rejection (that should suffice) .

Although this should not influence the Canadian Visa Officer's view, but they are bound to think why UK did not deem you fit to enter and may want to look into it further.

If UK saw you as a potential immigrant or your documents were not in order then you are safe.

i actually forgot if there is anywhere in the application form under new rule for Canada, there is any question that asks u about previous refusal for visa to any country. if there is none, don't even bother to mention this with a special letter to them. CHCs has got already enough to deal with & they r not at all interested for some info that they have not asked for. but if there is any such question in the form that asks u about any previous refusal, then ofcourse mention the UK refusal & attach an extra letter with that specific form explaining what reason the UK visa officer gave u to refuse entry to UK. anyway, do not worry abt it, it's gonna b fine

anybody who has filled a form, will know there is a column which asks about refusal of visa , removal etc from another country.
in my opinion, its best to be honest and mention.

for what we may know, the back ground/security checks carried out by the Visa Office may involve this. I read somewhere that there are treaties inbetween countries, to main a database of visa applicants/assylum seekrs/refusals/removals
