I got the checklist to upload my documents with "Multiple" in front of the Police Certificate, although I didn't spend more than 6 months in any other country except my home country in the past 10 years, so did my wife!.. does this make any sense? do they need PCC for countries I visited for 3 weeks? I had just 2 abroad trips and both of them are less than 1 month! during the last 10 years!

one more question::: If I spent more than 9 months in the USA 15 years ago, do I need to get a PCC? although it's not mentioned in my application! and not within the past 10 years?

Thanks

The word "multiple" is standard wording.

You need a USA PCC if you stayed there for more than 6 months in total since the age of 18.

will it be quick to request the PCC from USA? & how can I do this?
or I can just ignore this since it's not during the last 10 years and it's not shown on my current or previous passport?
could it affect me in later stages, like the interview?

Thanks

Hi guys , 23 days left to submit. Quick question , do I have to re obtain a PCC after revisiting a country ? I'm a resident I that country by visa but not permanently living there?

Again, if you spent more than 6 months in total in the USA since the age of 18 you must provide a PCC - failure to do this will result in rejection.

US and Canada share information so if you're so naive to think that they won't know of your time spent there because it is not shown in your passport... well an unpleasant surprise awaits you.

Finally, no it is not a quick process. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp
