Regarding POF for CIC

Do we have to provide the bank letter for the six months old -

since the day we received ITA

or

since the day we generate the POF letter from Bank ?

the funds should be available in your account for six months and not the statement.

ITA date

CIC is not explicitly asking for funds to be in your for 6 months. They require a letter from your bank that covers average balance for 6 months along-with other information such as applicant’s name, the contact information, account numbers, the date each account was opened etc.

There is no clarity on whether this 6 months from ITA or what date. From whenever you are getting the letter issued, make sure you have covered information for the previous 6 months.

CIC provides 60 days to submit all the documents, I will have the Funds for 6 months after 30 days for getting ITA. I can generate the letter after that for 6 months and submit.

I have not received ITA yet but hoping to receive the same in next draw, as I have received SINP nomination.

So want to understand the POF issue as mentioned in my last question...

Well, in all likelihood your "Settlement funds" requirement will be marked as met.

If you go too much into technicalities then be aware of the following

"Settlement funds" is part of the MEC (Minimum entry criteria), so technically it needs to be met at ITA level.

But honestly it is going into way too much detail. If you can show 6 months POF average met when you submit your application then it is fine.
