Regarding PGWP and PR

Hello,
I am pursuing healthcare management course. It is a one year pg diploma course which I am about to complete in April 2021. I don't want to opt a second course. So I will be getting one year of PGWP. If I have a job offer and I work for a whole year of PGWP then after completion of my work permit what will bethe procedure of applying for PR?
Should I take risk of just going for 1 yr pgwp Or I should go for second course?
Please guide me.

A one year PGWP is extremely risky if your aim is to get PR. Take a second course so that you qualify for a PGWP.

Note that what you have will NOT be considered as a job offer under certain programs (for example Express Entry) unless your employer also obtains an approved LMIA. Under Express Entry, if you want to qualify for the 50 job offer points and you hold a PGWP, your employer must obtain an approved LMIA. Most employers are not willing to go through this process.

I will complete my course in April 2021.So if I opt second course September 2021 then will the gap of 4 months affect my pgwp?
I mean what will be the duration of my pgwp, 2 yrs or 3 yrs?

No, this won't impact your PGWP. Your PGWP should be 3 years.

From the time you applied for pgwp your experience is counted until you get the pgwp approved. Note you should have submitted the application for PgWP

Ultimately this comes down to how many points you have now / expect to have after a year of work experience in Canada. If you are safely above 470 points, then you are most likely going to be selected. If not, then you'll be rolling the dice on whether your score will be high enough for PR.

Again, answer hasn't changed. Safest option is to take another course and qualify for a 3 year PGWP. But of course entirely your choice. Sounds like you've decided to stick with the 1 year PGWP already.

Yes, I have decided to do that but can't take risk based on what I want.
My score without French language test is reaching 450. I will try to improve my lELTS score and give French language test to reach at least 470.

My second course costs me 17,000 $ and that's not the issue but I don't want to waste my 1 years. So instead of doing that I am thinking of taking French language classes. That's what I want to do. Rather then wasting money and time, why not to go this way.
