Regarding PCC in USA

Hi All,

I had a few doubts regarding the PCC in USA.

1. Where can I get the finger printing done?
2. Do I have to take a print out of the fingerprint card and take it or is it provided by the agency where I go for fingerprinting.

If you live in US, nearest local police station would do that. They will have fingerprinting forms. Carry your drivers license when you go for fingerprinting.

Check their sites, most of them would ask for a draft rather than cash/cards

Other option is to go for UPS (Yes, some UPS stores have fingerprints services)

It depends upon the police station. For me, they didn't charge any fee at all. Fee was required only if I send the fingerprints for state criminal verification. Since I had to send it only to FBI, it ended free for me.

As Rocky said, UPS is a good option too. They charge $25 for the fingerprints I believe. Not all stores have the facility, check in their website to spot a nearest store with fingerprinting facility.

I just contacted some of the UPS centers here in Nashville(37211). They told me they have stopped doing fingerprintig. Any other suggestions you have where I can get the finger printing done.

Call your local police station, not 911. Ask them if they do finger printing for you. For me they charged $10 per sheet. But it depends on your City & State

That's only for green card holders and citizens. Visa holders are legal residents too and they need to go only via normal route.

Visiting a police station isn't a big deal. People were really friendly there. Just google the nearest one and have your fingerprints done. Don't hesitate.

They will have mostly. I took some, but were of no use. If you have access to printer, just take it.
