Regarding part-time work experience in different fields with an overlap

Dear members,

Thank you very much for providing us with a place to ask our questions and receive help.

I myself have an inquiry regarding my job experience. I am an engineer but I have worked in different fields:

A) 2010-2014: a University Instructor (part-time)
B) 2010-to date: an English Teacher (part-time)
C) 2014-to date: Self-employed (but my company has not turned profitable yet)

First, I wanted to include my self-employment as my experience, but I found out that it will not be applicable as the company has not produced any net profits yet. Thus, my only options are A & B as stated above.

Now, I have the following questions:

1. Is it OK to state unrelated experience to my major? Through a search in this forum, I found that it is possible but I will be thankful if a member confirms this.

2. Can I include A & B in my profile like what I have mentioned here? Will I have to include an explanation for my experience because of the overlap in the periods? You know, I worked in the morning for A and in the evening for B and it was necessary in my country just to get by. After the inception of my company, I continued my part-time job as a teacher (B) to cover my costs.

3. Would it be better if I included my recent employment just as an explanation and why I did not include it as my experience (because it has not made any net profits yet)?

4. Is the format for part-time job experience letters different than full-time ones? Any point to consider in my case?

I will be happy if you share your recommendations. Thank you very much for your help, in advance, and I wish all of us well.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1 - Yes, it's fine.
2 - Yes.
3 - I wouldn't include your self-employment in the work history, only include it in the personal history once you receive an ITA. No proof of employment will be requested in this case.
4 - It's the same.

Thank you very much Delpiero07! I really appreciate your help.

I was worried that the overlap would cause confusion for them. So even a letter of explanation will not be necessary to give them further information why I worked at the same time? Will both of them count toward my total years of experience?

Thank you once again.

No explanation needed, having two part-time jobs is extremely common.

They will count assuming they were both paid and NOC 0, A, B.
