Regarding NSPNP Application

Hello Everyone,

I am an international student on 1 Year of Post Graduation work permit. I am currently working for IBM Canada as Test Specialist full time. I joined this company on April 04, 2016 and my 1 year of experience will be completed on April 3, 2017 but my work permit will expire on April 13, 2017. I just have 10 days of time frame. Can anyone suggest me what are the options I have for my PR Application? Can I apply for work permit extension or close work permit? What can be the options for me to stay here and continue my job

You would have to ask IBM to get LMIA approved work permit for you.. or you can find another role which gives you the work permit.. prepare an express entry profile and do IELTS by march next year.. if you get enough EE points then you can apply for it.. but it is going to be really tough.. best bet is start looking now for LMIA wp.. i know IBM sends its employees to other provinces so may be you an ask them to designate u to another province (Manitoba, NS) where u can try to get PNP..

Thanks for your response. IBM is not going to provide LMIA and its not easy to get new job offer. Yes I am in Nova Scotia and I am trying for Nova Scotia PNP. Is there any other way to stay?

Is anyone have any idea that for Cec we need 1 year experience or 1560 hours but I am working for 44 hours/week so as per that my 1560 hours will be completed in 9 months. Can I apply for PNP earlier that 12 months?
