My educational credentials (i.e. my A-Level Law, LLB- UK and LLM ) have already been assessed by the NCA of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada this year. I have been assigned some exams, passing of which will enable me to get a Canadian Certificate of Qualifications to start the process of admission to one of their Bar Societies.

I would like to know if in order to apply for the Express Entry, I need to have my education re-assessed by the ECA. Would CIC consider the NCA assessment report as equivalent to that of ECA's?

I would really appreciate some information regarding this matter.

Hi, have you gotten the information required?Sadly, I would think you would still need to get an ECA assessment. In my case I got an ECA Assessment first, registered for express entry, got an ITA and submitted my eeAPR. I only just started considering getting an NCA assessment.

Hi! I have been confused lately on this topic. Could you please shed some light on this:
Is the function / result of ECA different from NCA, as ECA tells about the LEVEL of education, whereas NCA compares the actual subjects taught?
