Just out of curiosity...How did you get a Bachelor's degree (four years) in year 2015 after you got your Bachelor's degree (three years) in year 2012.
What I am unable to understand is getting a 4 year degree after a 3 years gap.

WES counted my 2 yrs masters as their 4 years bachelors

Unlikely that WES would ever evaluate a 2 year Masters degree as independently equivalent to a 4 year Canadian Bachelors degree. They have cumulative assessed your 2 degrees as a single 4 year Canadian Bachelors degree.

I totally agree with you that its unlikely WES will evaluate a 2 year Masters degree as independently equivalent to a 4 year Canadian Bachelors degree.

But then the question is why did they revise their report as shown by the OP? I am getting more confused by this WES equivalency thing by the day. Why this has to be so cryptic. phew! Why can't they just KISS. (Keep it Simple Silly!)

Why can't they (WES & CIC) just KISS (Keep it Simple Silly!) and agree on a single terminology that WES can write on reports and CIC can elicit on their 'ECA conversion' page? Don't they believe in simplicity of life?

*I am just voicing my frustration at this out loud*

You do think too much, don't over do it, just read between what WES say. Definitely he can claim Two degrees, done. ;)

The good thing is thinking or overthinking isn't a crime...at least not yet.

Your ECA report shows your credentials have been evaluated as two BScs. I don't see why you shouldn't claim points for "two or more degrees...". When
When i did did my ECA, the summary only showed one BSc of 4 years, even though I had two in the report (just like your original report). It didn't matter to me, I applied all the same and claimed " two or more degrees...". CIC didn't have a problem with that and I got PPR recently.

Thank you really very much Nemile.

That's exactly what most of us here wanted to hear. :)

Hey guys, I must say that my credentials are slightly different from tahminaml's. I have a BSc in Accounting and I'm an ACCA member. My BSc in Accounting was evaluated as a 4year BSc and my ACCA as a 3year BSc (even though I got qualified in 2 years). The summary on my ECA was a 4year BSc but like I said in my earlier post, I still selected "two or more degrees". The rest is history.
In
my opinion, I think you have more to gain by selecting "Two or more degrees".
1. You get more points
2. It's clearly stated in your ECA summary.
3. Even if you get a refusal, CIC will have a very hard time defending the refusal if u decide to appeal because of how its written on the ECA report.
4. I haven't heard of anyone who actually had two degrees on his/her ECA being refused. (I may be wrong but I did quite a bit of research before I selected that option when I was applying).

Cheers y'all.

Hi All
Help required

Got my ECA report but my MBA majors is mentioned incorrectly as major/ specialisation in business administration
Whereas it should be finance

How do I get it corrected ? - I hav already dropped a mail to WES but no reply as of now
What are the chances of it being corrected?
If corrected how soon can I get the report?
Does this major - make a big difference as I have got the equivalency as masters already

Any help or suggestion - much appreciated

Hello Everyone. Need some advice on how to infer WES Evaluation report I got today.

I have two degrees:1) 4 year full time engineering degree from Mumbai University.
2) One year distance learning certificate "Executive program in general Management" from IIM Kolkata.

Now, my WES Summary states "Bachelor's degree (four years) ". However, for the one year program, Canadian equivalency is "Completion of study in an executive management program at a graduate school of business".

My question is: Do I select "bachelors degree" or "Two or more certificates" while creating my EE profile. Has anyone got his/her ECA done recently for such one year distance learning programs and got a "not recognized Canadian equivalency" result.
