Hi everyone ,this is sai, and if someone could please help me over my doubt regarding few things. Actually am Pursuing my MSc Geology( Petroleum exploration) and am in my final year. So could someone please tell me that whether I need to give up for my GRE or only IELTS, and another important thing is whether am eligible for MS or M.eng, Masc in pertroleum course at canada , coz i am already taking up with my masters back here in india so would that be fine . please someone suggest.

Getting a masters already is an added advantage. So you shall be fine. GRE is not mandatory in most of the canadian univs. But it does give added advantage and edge for admission. Getting into MASc. depends on your research capability and if you can convince a proposed supervisor for the program.

Thanks buddy for the information, but one thing is that am pursuing my "Msc.Geology (petroleum exploration)" so would I be eligible to pursue my masters back at Canadian Petroleum Engineering ?

Look at the admission requirements and email the program coordinator. They will tell you whether you will be eligible or not

i have already looked up with the admission details but couldnt understand one thing all universities are asking for undergraduate engineering or equivalent degree so whther my msc geology(petroleum exploration ) equals to that equivalent degree am not able to get that and when i mail those coordinators they send me the same link following on the brochure of the university :-[

Well. Then go ahead and apply for MEng. Chances are more of admission as they receive a huge amount of fund from international students pursuing the MEng program. Chances of MASc depends if you can secure a supervisor. Securing a supervisor gives like 70-80% surety of admission.

Scholarship depends on univ as well as program. If available, you can surely apply for it
