Guys,

Pls clear this... Its very very important

I came to canada as a student this month. I had withdrawn my course as i found the curriculum to be the same as what i did in MBA. I heard abt the LMO option. Let me know whether is there any option to get work permit during the time the guy is holding the study permit and what are the chances of getting PR if we enter into LMO contract?

Kindly let me know this ASAP. Pls explain in detail abt LMO and how much will they charge for the same?

Your reply is going to be of gr8 help

Hi srirampv84,

You cannot file for your LMO.An employer has to file it for you and for that you need to get an job offer.

Please go through this link

Dude

That's not the case.. In my case, the advocate is in touch with lot of employers and he will arrange for some contractual work. In that means, i will be getting the contractual work permit from some employer ( ex - timhortons).

My question is, if i complete 960 hrs of work in alberta or saskatoon then will i get PR for sure?

Pls let me know

It depends on the skill level of the position, the employer's willingness to hire you on a permanent basis and/or willingness to sponsor you for the PNP program, if you meet required income levels, etc., etc. Too many variables without further explanation. Working 960 hours (or 6 months) is only the beginning and that in itself will not guarantee you PR. Are you working with an immigration consultant/lawyer? If so they should be explaining all of this to you.

According to Canadian experience class , You can apply PR if you are Temporary Foreign Workers
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements. They must have:

Obtained at least two years of skilled, professional or technical work experience within 36 months of the application date; and
Moderate or basic language skills, depending on the skill level of their occupation.
