Hi Guys,

I got an ITA in last draw and right now I am collecting all the documents.

Meanwhile, one of my ex-employer denied me to provide me a reference letter as my company's name has been changed. Although, I have the offer letter, experience letters. What can I do in this situation.

Viren, if you are talking about foreign work exp you need to provide letter of reference for 3 yrs of work in the last 10 yrs only... rest all your work exp can go to personal history and that does not require any documents to support. With that being said... if you take out this work exp out, do you have other work exp to cover the points for 3 years work exp ?

Many thanks for your reply.

So my job details are as follows:
1) November - 2010 to Feb - 2013 (this company denied me the letter)
2) Feb - 2013 to May - 2016 I was doing my PhD
3) May - 2016 to May - 2017 (I have the reference letter)
4) July - 2017 to August - 2018 (job in Canada, with reference letter).

Now what can I do?

Ok, got your point, if you are in touch with your previous manager of your first work ex, can you ask him to provide a letter on a document which you can notarize....
take a look at what Sandeep says: https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-purpose-and-the-format-of-a-Reference-Letter-to-apply-for-a-Canada-PR-after-getting-the-invitation
