6.5
Hello,
I recently found out that I have HIV, I am have been going through appropriate treatment for HIV for the past 7 months and I am in good health condition currently.
I had been working in a company as a marketing analyst for the last 3 years(2017-2019).
I have given ILTS and overall it's 6.5 (2019), have done O LEVEL (2012) and GED (2016).
I want to know with my study gap of 4 years and my current health condition can I apply in Canada for completing my bachelor's in " Business Administration " or "Bachelor of Science in Economics "without any issues or not?
I also like to know how to approach this situation properly in front of the embassy and get a valid student visa to full fill my dreams
I also like to inform you I have around 51278 CAD in my current account and around 311099 CAD in savings in my account currently.

I don't know exactly but according to their website u should not have anything which can lead to emergency treatment in ur near future for example a year or two and u should not have symptoms of a disease which will costs u very high to treat it...they will assess ur medical according to these terms...it's just my opinion ..hope someone with experience can guide u properly...other things are manageable no problem with them...

My suggestion is to do an upfront medical if possible regardless of non-SDS or SDS application. Bring all documentation about HIV and treatment you received to your medical exam (mention you being an HIV positive just in case when submitting blood tests and talk about all of the treatment with general physician at the end of your exam, it is the last doctor you would have to see during an exam). Most likely you will have to go through additional tests, which might take as long as 3 months. You will not be straight out refused unless your treatment would cost Canada higher than (clarify the amount, but up to my memory/prior knowledge it is) 3,500 CAD per month. You can start prepping an application inside GC key with an upfront medical exam receipt. And definitely call your medical exam provider to ask for the results before paying the fees and submitting.
Also, don't worry, you should be fine :)

P.S Just to clarify, I do not have HIV, but my husband had issues with medical and had to go through additional tests because of his lungs. We won a lot of time by doing our medical in June and submitting an application in August

Hello, I would like to ask if you have applied for the visa and how is the progress? My situation is similar to yours.
